QISSA presents How to Network the second edition of the ESTAFET series supported by SCOPE
Networking is essential for many makers, but it does not always come naturally. During this special event we take a practical approach to it. We will focus on networking and community. How do you approach this as a maker without it feeling forced? And how do you make sure it actually boosts your career and leaves you inspired afterwards?
About the event
During this afternoon, you will actively work on these questions. Through two sessions, we look at how to start conversations, how to position yourself and how to connect in a way that feels natural to you.
The afternoon is hosted by multitalented Nora Akachar, theatre maker and presenter, who knows better than anyone how to connect people, stories, and perspectives - making her the perfect host for a dynamic networking event. Kim Trotz (The Freelance Qommunity) will lead the first session on community building and the value of creating and sustaining meaningful connections. Fatima Bouddokar (Dòka Connect) will close with a session on networking as a skill that can be learned and developed, all while staying true to yourself.
After the talks, the floor opens up to connect with fellow makers and keep the conversation flowing. The perfect moment to put things into practice and turn inspiration into action.
Who is this for?
For makers based in The Hague - Rotterdam region and surrounding areas who want to expand their network and actively work on their position as a maker.
